Ingredients
 Ground beef or a mix of beef and pork
 Bread crumbs
 Parmesan cheese
 Eggs
 Garlic
 Italian herbs (such as oregano and basil)
 Salt and pepper to taste
 Crushed tomatoes
 Tomato paste
 Olive oil
 Onion
 Garlic

 Sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
 Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Prep the Meatballs. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef (or beef and pork mix), bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten eggs, minced garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper

Mix the ingredients until well combined

Shape the mixture into meatballs of your desired size

Prep the Tomato Sauce. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent

Add minced garlic and continue to sauté for a minute until fragrant.

Pour in crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir well

Season the sauce with Italian herbs, salt, pepper, and sugar (if using). Bring the sauce to a simmer.

Gently place the shaped meatballs into the simmering sauce. Allow them to cook in the sauce for about 20-30 minutes, or until cooked through

Prep the Spaghetti. Cook the spaghetti pasta according to the package instructions in a separate pot of boiling salted water

Drain the cooked pasta

Assemble. Serve the meatballs and tomato sauce over the cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese on top
