Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Crispy Breadcrumbs

Ingredients
 16 oz Creamette® Elbow Macaroni
 3 tbsp butter
 3 tbsp flour
 2.50 cups milk
 0.50 tsp salt
 0.13 tsp ground black pepper
 0.25 cup onion, minced
 8 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
 0.25 cup bread crumbs
Cooking Directions

 Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

 Preheat oven to 350ºF.

 In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat, until sauce thickens. Stir in salt and pepper. Add onion and cheese; stir until cheese melts. Stir cheese sauce into pasta.

 Spoon into a greased 2-quart baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake 30 minutes, or until bread crumbs are golden brown.
