8 oz Creamette® Mostaccioli
1 lb cooked Italian sausage links, sliced
3/4 cup onion, chopped
2 each garlic cloves, minced
1 jar (24 oz.) pasta sauce
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Cooking Directions:

1.  Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.  Preheat oven to 375º F. 

2.  Meanwhile, in a large skillet, over medium heat, brown sausage; pour off fat. Add onion and garlic. Cook and stir until onion is tender.

3.  Stir in pasta sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cooked pasta and 1/2 cup cheese.

4.  Turn into greased 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake uncovered 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
