Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
garlic clove, minced
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded American cheese, divided
1 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp parsley, chopped
8 oz Creamette® Mostaccioli

Cooking Directions:

1.  Heat oven to 350°F.

2.  In medium skillet, brown meat until thoroughly cooked; add onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook until onion is tender but not brown; drain.

3.  Stir in tomato sauce and pepper; simmer 5 minutes.

4.  In small bowl, stir together 1 cup cheese, sour cream and parsley; set aside.

5.  Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.

6.  In 2-quart casserole, stir together 1-1/2 cups meat sauce and one half pasta. Spread cheese mixture evenly over pasta. Top with remaining pasta and meat sauce. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

7.  Bake, covered, 20 minutes. Remove cover; bake 5 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.
