12 oz Creamette® Oven Ready Elbows
1 1/2 cups 2% milk
1 1/2 cups hot water
8 oz pasteurized prepared cheese product, cubed
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 tsp powdered mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 cup sour cream

Cooking Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. Coat a 2-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Pour uncooked pasta into dish

3. In a large microwave-safe bowl combine milk, water, cubed cheese, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, mustard, salt and pepper.

4. Microwave approximately 6 minutes, stirring every 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.

5. Add sour cream and mix well. Pour over pasta and stir to coat evenly.

6. Bake uncovered for  15 more minutes. Stir thoroughly and top with remaining 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.

7.If desired top with bread crumbs. Bake  uncovered 15 more minutes. If desired, broil for approximately 1 minute to brown cheese topping.

8. Allow to stand for at least 10 minutes before serving.

  Note*  1/3 cups panko/bread crumbs optional
